Particleboard (chipboard) is a wood derivative constructed by wood pieces which are mixed with resin and are sheet-shaped. These sheets are covered with melamine film and are disposable in various designs and colors. Melamine is cheaper than MDF (more dense material in comparison to particleboard) and is processed easier than natural wood.
Melamine through a variety of application possibilities is the basis for furniture construction such as kitchen doors and cabinets and for indoor design like wardrobes and other small furniture.

Cleaning tips - Avoiding streaks: For avoiding streaks, the cleaning of the surface with a napkin or a soft, clean rag or with a sponge and not with organic solvents or with old rags is recommended. When the surface is cleaned with a wet rag, it must be dried with a paper towel or a microfiber cloth.
Care and tips for matt surfaces: Surfaces with matt finish have a very natural look and feel. What is important is that the surfaces are cleaned only with a soft, wet rag. Under no circumstances abrasive, washing powder, vacuum cleaner, bleach, acid cleaners or steam cleaning equipment should be applied.
The reason for these precautions is that the cleaners and hard rags will cause severe damage (patches), which will damage the surface and cannot be removed.
